Thanks. We've got your details.

A licensed adviser will call you, usually within one working day. Before any advice, they'll email you their details and disclosure information.

Handy to have, but not essential:

Please don't switch funds or providers before you've talked.

Fair questions

Before you start

Is it really free?

Yes, the chat is free and there's no obligation. Advisers can be paid in different ways for KiwiSaver advice, for example by the KiwiSaver provider. Before any advice, you'll get disclosure information explaining exactly how the adviser is paid and any conflicts of interest.

Who will I be talking to?

A licensed NZ financial adviser who advises on KiwiSaver. Before any advice is given, they'll email you their name, licence details, the services they provide and how to complain if something goes wrong.

Is a growth fund always better?

No. Growth funds usually aim for higher long-term returns but go up and down more along the way. If you need the money soon, for a house deposit for example, a big drop at the wrong time can hurt. The right fund depends on when you'll use the money and how you'd handle the ups and downs.

Can I lose money by switching?

Switching funds or providers doesn't usually cost a fee, but timing matters. Selling after a market fall can lock in that loss. That's why it's worth talking it through before changing anything.

Do I need my statement?

Not to get started. If you have it, or your provider's app, it helps the adviser give you a clearer picture.
